There are lots of workstations on the market that are constructed in the same way as the DMS-1050. But the DMS-1050 has one essential advantage in comparison with its colleagues: Scratching in realtime without delay and time limit is possible. The pitching-functions are also outstanding. You can play the CD up to 100 % faster or slower. All adjusted sample-parameters can be memorized and recalled from up to 500 CDs, which keeps the CD from jumping, even during an earthquake. Sounds not that bad, does it?
