The lighting technology cannot do without scanners. Due to their multifunctionality they convince everybody and great effects are guaranteed. So far this description is not different to our professional PSX-575E. But besides its numerous gobos, its multi-step zoom, its color changes or its rainbow-effect, it is the electric ballast that draws the attention. On the one hand the ballast creates a projection that is less flickering and and more powerful. On the other hand it weighs four kilograms less than its mechanic counterpart and thus reduces the weight from 29 kg to 25 kg anyhow. Individually it seems not to change that much, but when ten scanners are mounted to a trussing the difference runs up to 40 kilos already.
