LEDs continue to be on the rise. Eurolite's new TSL-100 scanner therefor sets an impressive example. Because it realizes the brightness of a 250 Watt halogen scanner with absolute brilliant colors. What is so special about this scanner is the fact, that the LED (in this case a white 20W LED) replaces the light source. A clear difference compared to the many rivals which use the diodes for producing the patterns. Despite the low power consumption, the TSL-100 creates an impressive brightness - and effects, such as gobos or color changes are generated just in the same way normal scanner do. And this marks the big difference to the existing LED scanners. They can just be compared to small light effect with 100 Watt as they illustrate their patterns via a matrix of diodes.
