By virtue of its switch-mode power supply technology, it saves an enormous amount of weight, comparing to many other amplifiers. If only three amplifiers are built into a rack, differences of 30kg or more can be achieved. A factor not to be underestimated, also when transporting. After all, payload weight equally needs to be considered.
