The VC-11 is a passive stereo monitor controller for professional computer-based studio applications and home use. It is designed for a precise volume control of analog audio signals and is inserted between analog signal sources and active speakers or amplifiers, e.g. between a PC sound card and monitor speakers. It is ideal for quick and easy level control when you monitor the audio output of your PC sound card or DAW (digital audio workstation).
Using a large rotary control, the VC-11 lets you attenuate volume levels conveniently and you no longer have to rely on a mouse and screen. Reducing level from your software only reduces the audio bit depth. The signal path is completely passive and does not require power supply. The VC-11 simply delivers an attenuated signal without compromising your audio which is one of the main benefits of passive volume attenuation. Thus, you can keep your software masters at unity and attenuate the audio to your active monitors precisely with the VC-11 while maintaining maximum audio resolution.
The VC-11 features balanced combined XLR and 6.3 mm jack inputs and 6.3 mm jack outputs, plus mini jack connectors as well as mute and mono switches. It will fit any desktop thanks to its compact size.
