EUROLITE ML-300 ABL Spot

PAR stands for "Parabolic Aluminized Reflector" and describes the original design of the spotlights. Today there are PAR spots in different versions. Beside long „longnose“ and short „shortnose“ versions, there are also slimline spots with a very narrow design. These are especially space-saving for installation.

EUROLITE ML-575 MSR Multi Lens Spot

As illuminants in modern PAR spots, mainly LEDs are used. In contrast to spots with traditional halogen lamps, these LED PARs allow comfortable working without color foils due to their color mixing.

In this category you will find spotlights for the use on stages and for installation in discotheques or in exhibition booths. Wherever static basic lighting is needed, PAR spots are a good choice. The professional devices have one or two brackets for mounting, with the help of which they can be attached to trusses or placed on the ground. Suitable Safety Robes can be found in the accessories under the respective articles or via the search function.

PAR-Spotlight

In event technology, they are irreplaceable for successful and impressive basic lighting: PAR spotlights. With their use, they create the basis for a good illumination of a stage - also outdoor -, a club or an exhibition stand. The spots, also called PAR cans because of their design, were created in the 1950s in the USA. Back then, heavy steel in combination with internal cooling plates was used in the production of PAR spotlights. Nowadays, production relies on high-quality, lightweight materials and light sources such as RGBW LEDs.

In our assortment, you will find PAR spotlights in different designs and for various applications. In addition to spotlights with so-called "longnose" housing, we also offer spots with shorter "shortnose" housings for your next event.

The space in your event location is rather limited? Then rely on slimline spotlights for the light at your next event. Compared to classic PAR fixtures, slimline fixtures are narrower in design and therefore space-saving. In terms of light, however, they are in no way inferior to conventional PAR spotlights.

As in other areas of event technology, innovations do not stop at PAR spotlights. For example, LEDs have been increasingly used in the spots since 2006. They replace classic light sources such as halogen lamps. At the same time, LEDs are more efficient in energy consumption and generate less heat during use. The PAR spots can be controlled via DMX, various apps and software solutions. Among other things, many of the spots are already pre-programmed in the apps "Light Captain" and "Easy Show" from EUROLITE. Thus, you can easily select and set different colors for the light of your next event.

In addition, one or the other spot can be operated with a rechargeable battery. This means that nothing stands in the way of mobile use. In our assortment, you will also find weatherproof PAR spots with IP classification, which you can also use at outdoor events or on open-air stages without any problems.

Do you still have questions about PAR spotlights or other LED spots with RGBW color mixing for the stage? Then get in touch with our staff. They will be happy to advise you!
