Safety by Using a Patented Safety System

The patent, “Arrangement for Securing an Axis,” requires that the ball is not only attached to the motor hook but additionally secured with a secondary safety mechanism.
The mirror ball is attached to the motor with a round steel chain and additionally secured with a second chain connected to a specially designated safety eyelet. The round steel chain must be rated for ten times the weight of the ball, and the safety chain must be rated for twelve times the ball weight.
