SUNSET IP spotlights from EUROLITE

Realistically recreating the dimmed, golden light of a classic incandescent lamp with LED technology is considered one of the most demanding disciplines in modern lighting technology. Especially in the lower dimming range, it becomes clear whether the light looks authentic or artificial. With the Sunset series, EUROLITE is launching two outdoor blinders that convincingly simulate exactly this behavior while deliberately remaining affordable.

Tungsten simulation

Both models work with sophisticated dim-to-warm technology. In the lower brightness range, this creates a red-golden hue familiar from a dimmed incandescent lamp. As the intensity increases, the light gradually changes into a classic warm-white blinder look. This not only adjusts the color temperature, but also recreates the characteristic brightening and dimming behavior of a tungsten lamp. The result feels organic and familiar.

Straightforward elegance

The EUROLITE SUNSET IP BAR 12 Blinder dim2warm is designed as a weatherproof IP65 bar with twelve separately controllable LED units. Each unit combines three 10-watt warm-white LEDs with additional red and amber LEDs. This forms the basis for the particularly realistic tungsten simulation. Since all twelve segments can be controlled individually, not only classic blinder effects but also dynamic chase effects can be created. The wide beam angle provides the typical broad, full-surface impact of a blinder effect and remains convincing even when viewed from the side. In addition to DMX, RDM, stand-alone, and master/slave operation, several show programs are available. Mounting brackets and omega brackets allow flexible installations, while SEETRONIC connectors and a pressure equalization membrane emphasize its outdoor suitability.

The Cyclops

With the EUROLITE SUNSET IP EYE 1 Blinder dim2warm, EUROLITE adds a single-eye version with high output to the series. A 324-watt COB LED provides an intense light output that also holds up on larger stages. The beam angle of 73° supports the typical broad blinder character. Here too, dim-to-warm technology is used. In the lower range, the light starts with a deep red-golden tone and develops into a warm-white stage light as it is dimmed up. In addition to the blinder effect, a strobe mode is also integrated. DMX, RDM, stand-alone, and master/slave operation allow flexible integration into existing setups.
