German quality control on engineer level
In 1998 Steinigke was one of the first in the industry to introduce an in-house quality control. Many technical improvements, security and other standards have their origin here.
Some of these developements made it to patents, for example the double anti-fall guard for mirror ball motors. An invention of us, used almost everywhere now.
Meanwhile, more than 15 people work for product security and conformity. Among them are engineers, technicians and degreed chemists.
Tests for product developements incorporate all current test methods. Electro-technical tests, electro-magnetical tests and special controls are passed, which serve norm conformity within the scope of environmental laws and commodity laws.
For trade-specific tests, special test facilities are found in house: a radio frequency/ radiation test device for radio links; tensile test constructions for lifting accessories, trussing etc. and a thermo testing room to test the devices' sensitivity to heat. When something can not be tested in house, we cooperate with external laboratories and institutes like TÜV, LGA or accredited special laboratories.
Continuous complete control of incoming goods are a matter of course for us. This is the only way occurring defects can be found. And the only way we can guarantee for legally and functionally faultless products.
